A large part of the country has flooded due to extreme weather.
We're living in an area where in 1995 250.000 people were evacuated.
Right now the river has reached the highest level. When the level drops we're not safe, because the dikes are soaked and they can burst even with less water.
My heart goes out to the people in Germany. A large part where we've been during our honeymoon has been destroyed and many people died.
Belgium suffered from the heave rains too.
And even Austria has an attack of the climate change rains.
But nevertheless I managed to write a short poem for The Sunday Muse.
