A strange Remembrance Day.
A war raging so nearby, with the threat of us being attacked too.
Which is frightening, as we here have no place to hide at all.
No basement, no safe parkingarea.

To remember those who fought or us in WW2 and the other wars, also means acknowledging and honouring those who have died in recent and present wars.

A few years ago I visited the Canadian War Cementery and was moved to tears by a veteran.
He was my symbol for today.
